Thank you for bringing life-changing messages of faith, hope and love to people across our nation. You are making a difference, connecting Kiwis to Christ through media, every day. God uses these messages, via Shine, Rhema, Star, Life FM, The Word For Today and Word For You Today, to impact people and draw them to him, just like he did with Alex through Shine:
"I cannot describe how much Shine saved my life. In the middle of yet another mental breakdown, sleep deprivation was taking over my mind, creeping around the house afraid, filled with fear and anxiety. Thoughts of suicide or harming others crippled my mind. I would put TV on and listen. I’d curl up and hear God’s Word and songs... I’d drift off to sleep, enough to get me through another day... I now hang out with Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen (I feel they are my friends) on a daily/nightly basis. Shine leads me closer and closer to God."
Changed lives like Alex’s are only possible because of your partnership with us. Together we are making a difference, shining the light of hope and salvation across Aotearoa, New Zealand, connecting people in need with Jesus. Thank you for making this possible.
This freedom is rooted in New Zealand’s democratic form of government and it is something for which we are very grateful. As a result, in the lead up to the New Zealand general elections, we were very pleased to be able to bring together so much information on good government from a faith perspective across each network.
You will not find election content with this perspective through any other media outlet. We hope you were able to either watch, listen or read some of this material and found it beneficial. It included interviews with the main political party leaders, panel interviews, the history of New Zealand Government and the Good Government Matters series.
Our prayer is that it both encouraged people to vote and helped many to make a prayerful decision on how to cast their vote. You can view this information here.
We also pray, following the election, for the Government that will be formed to govern this country for the next three years.
In Psalm 103, David speaks about our bodies and our time here on earth: ‘For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust. Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die. The wind blows, and we are gone — as though we had never been here’ (Psalm 103:15-16 NLT).
What David does not speak of is the difference we can make in the communities around us and to the generations that follow us. What we do while we are alive is very important and God has a plan for you and the difference that you can make in your lifetime.
Through your partnership with Rhema Media, you are extending your impact on this nation by enabling the life-saving message of hope in Jesus Christ to flood this land.
On behalf of the hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders who are reached by this Christian media ministry each week, thank you again for making this possible. We could not do it without you.
